This film looks at the inspiration, design and construction of this unique and totally sustainable shelter. A beautiful combination where the raw natural materials and elements have created a stylish elegant structure of sophisticated solitude.
Santa Monica House
2005 / 5 min / USA
Director Utan Guifoyle
What happened to Frank Gehry? Some call it a midlife crises, others a moment of revelation. Whatever occurred, this rather conventional architect changed virtually overnight into an avant-garde designer and created what is arguably the most influential residence of the 20th Century.
2010 / 4 min / Japan
Director Makoto Yabuki
It is a work made as the visual identity of the architectural firm Sturdy Style. The architect faces the white box symbolizing a home, and designs harmony between the life and the environment.
